Lost Skier Found and Reunited with Family

CARRABASSETT VALLEY - After two days of searching for a missing skier at the Sugarloaf Ski Resort, Nicholas Joy has been found.
The 17 year-old from Medford, Massachusetts was found by a snowmobiler, not part of the search, early Tuesday morning.

Women Steals Thousands from Local Church

FAIRFIELD - Police are looking for a woman who stole more than 2 thousand dollars in cash and checks from a Fairfield church.
 
Around 10:30 Monday morning, a woman walked into Fairfield United Methodist Church and asked a staff member at the church office for help.

Lawmaker Proposes Voter Law Change

Car strikes gas pumps

A scary scene Monday morning in Bangor when a car collided with some gas pumps at a local convenience store.
 
It was just after 8:30 when the vehicle rolled into a Circle K and slammed into the pumps, tearing them from their base.
 
Fire fighters say all the stores emergency features were working and the flow of gas was shut down quickly to help avoid a fire.
 
About 5 to 7 gallons spilled.
 
There's little information available about the man who was driving.
 
He was rushed to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
 
The accident also knocked out power to more than one thousand customers in the immediate area.
