Wardens urge boating safety

BANGOR - There Is nothing quite like a relaxing day aboard a boat, but game officials hope people will also keep safety in mind while trying to have some summertime fun.

BANGOR - Sales of Apple's newest iPhone hasn't hit expectations but that didn't slow down profits. Just over 52 million iPhones sold in the first three months of the year -- up just three percent from last year. But profits were up 25 percent -- driven in part by the higher price tag of the iPhone 10.

BELFAST - A shop owner and her friends in Belfast say they noticed that some families fall into debt because they're not able to pay for school lunches.

AUGUSTA - Federal law required the state to file a plan for Medicaid expansion by April 3.

The law says the Department of Health and Human Services was supposed to do that within 90 days after the Medicaid expansion law went into effect.

The state agency failed to do that.

Supporters of the voter approved law, filed a lawsuit in Kennebec County Superior Court on Monday asking a judge to order the state to comply with federal law.
