ISLAND FALLS – The trailer attached to a semi-truck was split in half Saturday following a crash in northern Maine.
The crash happened while the driver of the truck was headed south on Interstate 95, according to state police.
The trooper who responded determined the driver lost control of the truck due to poor weather and road conditions.
The vehicle then slid, broke 100 yards of guard rail and then crashed into the bridge support — breaking the trailer in half.
The driver suffered minor injuries.
