BANGOR — This year, you will have a chance to get a COVID-19 vaccine at the Bangor State Fair.
University of New England pharmacists and pharmacy students will partner with Northern Light Health to administer COVID-19 vaccines on Thursday and Friday.
UNE Associate Professor Emily Dornblaser said the clinic will offer both Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
“Our ultimate goal is to help people get their questions answered about the vaccine, share with them that it’s safe and effective, help them if they’re considering getting the vaccine, and ways they can do that,” Dornblaser said.
Dornblaser said the fair’s clinic hours are from 2 to 3 p.m. on August 5 and 6.
If you have any questions, informational hours run from 2 to 4 p.m.
