ORONO – The University of Maine School of Performing Arts is presenting an on-demand, virtual production of its first spring show, called “The Wolves.”
Mary Jean “MJ” Sedlock, the production manager and technical director of UMaine’s Division of Theatre/Dance, said they’ve tried to incorporate all aspects of live theatre into the production to record the best version.
She said the show revolves around girls who play on a soccer team and deal with day to day high school life until they suffer from a tragedy.
“I know for our students that has felt really poignant for the pandemic era, as we all felt our lives shift in an instant and had to reallot our priorities following last march,” Sedlock said.
Sedlock said the play is relatable to anyone who went through teenage years trying to figure out who they are.
The show can be rented from March 5 to March 14 on showtix4u.com.
