STATEWIDE – Governor Janet Mills announced a second round of economic recovery grants for small businesses in Maine last Friday.
More than 1200 grants will be issued for 54 million dollars to small businesses and non-profits.
The commissioner of the department of economic and community development said any business who had a significant revenue loss can apply.
“This is an ongoing challenge for small businesses and organizations to remain viable throughout the pandemic, and, so we want to make sure we continue to offer as much support as we can make available,” said Heather Johnson, commissioner of the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development.
Johnson said funds will be distributed by December.
