FAIRFIELD – A Waterville woman who worked at a Fairfield school for students with behavioral problems will spend the next 18 months in prison.
That was the sentence passed down for 32-year-old Tia Chris-Ann Rousseau for sexually assaulting a student at the Good Will-Hinckley school, according to Kennebec County District Attorney Maeghan Maloney.
According to court records, Rousseau sexually assaulted a 15-year-old student at a Waterville hotel and left him there.
He was later found by police at Walmart in Waterville.
The judge also ordered Rousseau to undergo sex offender counseling and be placed on the state’s sex offender registry for the next 25 years.
