DEDHAM — A bone-chilling dip in the water? That’s what Camp CaPella is doing to raise money for kids who can’t afford to go to camp this summer.
The camp’s Harvey Chesley said the polar dip is one option plus kids will do things like lobster rolls and snow angels.
Lobster rolls are when kids get into their summer suits and roll down the hill in a full fleet of snow.
“Over 95 percent of our families need some sort of financial aid to send their kids to camp this helps make up for that,” said Chesley.
Camp Capella is for developmentally disabled children and adults. For more information check out the camp’s website.
