OLD TOWN- Some changes happened to Old Town’s city council on Monday night.
Councilor David Mahan was appointed as council chair and 2 councilors, incumbent Carol May and newcomer Timothy Folster, were sworn in.
Both Folster and May said look forward to bringing Old Town into the future.
“I’m happy to be back for another 3 years. I enjoyed my time on the council and I‘m happy to be back and do it for another 3 years,” said May.
“We have some things that are going on that are good things, like the mill being opened,” Folster said. “We also have events like the fire downtown we need to recover from, so I just hope to have input into that and move Old Town ahead.”
In addition to two councilors being sworn in, Kelly Hasselbrack and Moriah Geer were sworn onto the RSU #34 school board.
