OLD TOWN- A home in Old Town suffered significant damage as a fire rolled through it on Monday evening.
A passerby saw smoke coming from the home on West Old Town Road and called it in around 5 o’clock.
Crews from Bradley, Milford, Orono, Bangor Alton, Hudson, and Glenburn all responded.
No one was home at the time the fire broke out.
“We made entry. A quick attack. Knocked it down really quick. At this point it’s overhaul and the State Fire Marshal’s have been contacted,” said Old Town’s public safety director, Scott Wilcox.
Nobody was injured fighting the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
