BANGOR – Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center hired a new president this month.
Rand O‘Leary has 25 years of experience working in healthcare.
O’Leary came here from Oregon even though he is originally from Michigan.
He said he was looking for the right community and right opportunity.
“When I came to Maine, Bangor specifically, I felt a connection here.” O’Leary said. “I felt a connection to the people that live here. I felt a connection to the staff here at the hospital. I was just really impressed with everything I saw.”
O’Leary said his main focus right now is listening to others to learn about the organization and community.
