BANGOR – A new store on Broadway has everything you need for outdoor sports
Dill’s Outdoors owner Byron Dill said he is a Mainer and wants to supply other Mainers with the products they need to navigate the outdoors.
Dill said he plans to offer as many American-made and Maine-made products as possible.
“We want to supply a little bit of everything for everybody. Mostly the hunting, the fishing and the outdoors, hiking. I’m open for any suggestions for other things to bring in. We’re thinking we’re going to bring in a line of archery,” Dill said.
Dill said the owner of the former Van Raymond Outfitters store in Brewer — which closed recently after more than 30 years in business — was “instrumental” in helping him open his shop.
Dill’s Outdoors is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
