STATEWIDE – Tens of thousands of Mainers are without power, thanks to a storm that’s brought howling winds and heavy rain to much of the state.
As of 11:40 p.m., Versant Power was reporting outages affecting more than 9,200 customers.
Most of the Versant Power outages are concentrated in northern Maine and along parts of the coast.
Meanwhile, around 11:40 p.m., Central Maine Power was reporting about 82,500 customers were without power. Many of those outages are in Cumberland and York Counties.
