DOVER-FOXCROFT – A Milo man charged in December with using a gun to kill the family cat then terrorize his wife and children, admitted in court on Monday that he committing the crimes.
Frank Foss Jr., 25, pleaded guilty to eight crimes, including domestic violence terrorizing with a dangerous weapon and cruelty to animals.
“Mr. Foss pled guilty to all the charges he was facing today,” said Assistant District Attorney Chris Almy. “They involved domestic violence charges involving a gun.”
Foss told investigators he was drunk when he killed the cat and shot at his family, which fled to a friend’s home in Medford.
He is scheduled to be back in court in March for his sentencing. He faces up to five years in prison for the weapons charge, the most serious of the eight crimes he is now convicted of doing.
