AUGUSTA — The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday that 30 more cases of COVID-19 have been reported around the state.
The new coronavirus cases bring the statewide total since March of last year to 68,262, according to state health officials.
No new deaths were reported, leaving the statewide death toll at 839.
The latest CDC COVID-19 statistics show 2,039 people have required hospitalization to treat the virus.
As of Sunday, 61 people were hospitalized due to COVID-19. Of those, 26 were being cared for in intensive care while 15 people were on ventilators.
Also as of Sunday, 1,445,228 Mainers had been vaccinated, with 724,806 having received their first dose and 720,422 having had their final dose.
