BANGOR — Members of the Maine People’s Alliance continue to urge Rep. Jared Golden to support the human infrastructure package.
They went door-to-door Tuesday in a section of Bangor letting others know about community investments in the $3.5 trillion Build Back Better package.
MPA community organizer Robert Laraway said certain provisions in the package are important for voters in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District.
“It’s got a ton of provisions for child care, housing, citizenship, climate, a bunch of issues that are really essential, and in a neighborhood like this, care is really essential, it affects a lot of families,” Laraway said.
The Maine People’s Alliance will send postcards signed by members of the community to Golden’s office.
