BANGOR – The Maine Harvest Festival will take place at the Cross Insurance Center this weekend.
It was recently recognized as one of the 10 best fall festivals in Maine by Trips to Discover, an online travel publication.
Director Judi Perkins said there will be more than 140 vendors with plenty of samples to try.
“This is primarily a food show so you’re going to find a little bit of everything. Bring your cooler with you for your frozen meats, for instance, pickles and cheese and breads. Everything made right here by the vendors and the owner in the store so you get to meet the chef that made the bread,” she said.
The Maine Harvest Festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
