BANGOR — With many events getting canceled on Thanksgiving, a lot of people are looking to keep traditions going in their own way.
Since the annual Turkey Trek event was canceled, a group of friends got together for a run in City Forest.
One of them had been doing the Turkey Trek for the past five years.
“In 2020, I think any amount of normalcy is important even in the rain and the snow and the cold,” Camie Hall, a member of a local running group, said. “I think it’s important we’re still doing those things to hang onto some sense of control.”
There were also other running groups in the area that went out Thanksgiving morning.
