AUGUSTA — The Kennebec County grand jury has indicted a Millinocket man in connection with an alleged burglary at an Augusta church.
Police said they got a call about an alleged burglary in progress at First United Pentecostal Church on Wilson Street on March 17.
Police said they intercepted 45-year-old Brock Malone before he could leave.
According to court records, he was allegedly trying to steal more than a thousand dollars worth of tools and musical instruments.
The grand jury indicted Malone on charges of burglary, theft and violation of condition of release.
The grand jury also indicted 49-year-old Michael Labrecque of Augusta on 15 counts of possession of sexually explicit materials.
According to court records, the materials contained images of children under the age of 12.
