BANGOR — A federal judge postponed an accused drug trafficker’s first court appearance Thursday because she was ill.
Federal drug agents arrested 65-year-old Brenda Shaboski of Bangor on Wednesday and charged her with operating a so-called drug home and selling fentanyl.
Shaboski appeared in court Thursday morning via Zoom but told the judge she was feeling sick.
After her defense attorney talked with Shaboski, the judge adjourned the hearing.
It was rescheduled for Monday afternoon.
In court documents, a federal drug agent said Shaboski had been under investigation for months.
He said Shaboski was addicted to crack cocaine and spent $70,000 on the drug in 2020.
Shaboski is being held at Somerset County Jail.
