HOLDEN – Firefighters were called to 28 Skyline Drive for a house fire Wednesday evening.
According to the Holden Fire Chief, the homeowner got home, saw smoke inside and called 911.
When crews arrived on scene, they found fire inside.
“Heavy damage inside the center of the structure with fire, a lot of heat upstairs, a lot of stuff melted throughout the home and smoke damage, but there’s a lot of stuff that will be salvageable in the home,” said Holden fire chief, Ryan Davis. “There’s going to be a lot of cleanup and construction stuff, but the home can be repaired.”
Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire.
No injuries were reported.
The chief tells us the homeowner is staying with friends.
