OLD TOWN – There’s a lot of spooky events happening this month to help the community.
The haunted trail happening in Old Town this weekend is just one.
“It’s a unique event. It brings in probably every fear a person could have,” said Adam Mahaney, the rec center’s program director.
From clowns to blood, the haunted trail has it all.
This is the third year the rec center has hosted the event.
“People should come out if they love scary things…just to get the feel of a haunted trail” said Connor Archer, a program staff member at the rec center.
All of the money raised by the haunted trail goes back into programming for kids at the rec center.
It’s open this Friday and Saturday.
Kids hours are from 6:30 pm to 7, while “Beware of the Scare” hours run from 8 pm to 10 for adults.
“There are people that come in thinking they’re not going to be scared whatsoever but we will bring the fear to another level to make sure people have a great time,” Mahaney added.
Tickets are $7 if purchased in advance and $10 day of.
