BANGOR- One local business is making a difference during the pandemic.
In a conference call with 99 different bridal stores across the country, Holli Owsley, the co-owner of Dream Dress Bridal, found out her bridal garment bags are made with the same material that medical grade masks are.
“We just happened to find out that we actually owned material that was what they actually needed which was such a surprise to us. The minute I got off the call I contacted my seamstress and was like, ‘I think we got about 23 bags left, let’s see what we can make out of those,'” Owsley said.
She said they made 35 different masks, which on Saturday were all donated to St. Joesph’s emergency department.
