BREWER – A coronavirus outbreak investigation is underway at Brewer High School, after the superintendent said three positive cases had been identified.
Last Thursday, WVII/WFVX reported that students in Cohort B at Brewer High School would be learning remotely after a coronavirus case had been tied to the school.
Monday, Superintendent Gregg Palmer sent a letter to students, families and staff, saying two more people had tested positive.
The Maine CDC opens an outbreak investigation after three positive cases are identified.
Palmer said in a statement the return date for students is December 3, after the November break.
According to Palmer, the Brewer Community School is not impacted.
