BANGOR — Confirmed cases of COVID-19 among bus drivers forced the Bangor School Department superintendent to shift students to remote learning Tuesday.
According to a statement on the Bangor school department’s website, Cyr Bus officials recently notified the school some of their bus drivers had contracted the virus.
The statement said some students will be quarantined as they were considered to have been in close contact with those drivers.
The school department’s plan calls for some students to attend school remotely, while others will resume in-person learning.
Parents are asked to check the Bangor School Department’s website to find out how their children will be affected.
