BANGOR — There are more cases of COVID-19 at the Penobscot County Jail.
Sheriff Troy Morton said there are now four cases of coronavirus and an additional seven presumptive cases among staff and people associated with the jail.
Morton said two inmates have also tested positive for the coronavirus.
Both were in quarantine and were tested as part of the jail’s general practice before being released into the general population.
Morton said several other inmates were tested but their results came back negative.
