PRESQUE ISLE — A Presque Isle man has been sentenced in two separate cases for conspiring to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.
A federal judge ordered 29-year-old Tyler Neece to spend more than 13 years in prison and five years of supervised release.
According to court records, between January 2017 and August 2018 Neece and his coconspirators got meth from an out-of-state source and distributed the drugs in northern Maine.
Records also indicate between July 2018 and May 2019, members of a separate conspiracy obtained meth out-of-state. Records say Neece and his coconspirators distributed those drugs in Aroostook County and other parts of Maine.
Neece pleaded guilty in February 2021.
