BANGOR — A Presque Isle man pleaded guilty Wednesday to federal drug charges.
According to court records, between July 2018 and May 2019, 57- year-old Robert Poliero and others conspired to distribute methamphetamine.
Records indicate Poliero traveled to Georgia on at least two occasions to obtain meth.
Records state once he transported the drugs to Maine, he and his co-conspirators distributed them in Aroostook County.
On one of those trips, Maine State Police stopped the vehicle he was in and found 6,100 grams of a mixture containing methamphetamine.
Poliero faces between 10 years and life in prison as well as a fine of up to $1o million on each charge.
