BANGOR — Volunteers and staff members of Maine People’s Alliance brought Maine’s Congressional Delegation “Roadmap For Maine” travel kits before they head out to Washington, D.C.
Currently, Congress is negotiating a $3.5 trillion spending bill that aims to improve clean energy, green jobs, and citizenship for immigrant essential workers. The Maine People’s Alliance is urging the delegation to pass that budget package.
Volunteers and staff in Bangor presented Golden and King travel kits inside totes made by Maine artists containing a road map to the capital, whoopie pies and Mad Libs.
Those in Portland also presented the same going away gifts to Rep. Chellie Pingree and Sen. Susan Collins.
