AUGUSTA — Maine Attorney General Aaron Frey has filed a civil rights complaint in response to an incident of vandalism in Bangor.
The complaint was filed in Penobscot County Superior Court.
It alleges that two Bangor teenagers spraypainted racial slurs and threats on a vehicle belonging to Tahmoor Khan of Bangor based on their bias against his race and color.
The teenagers are 15 years old.
The complaint is requesting the teenagers be barred from having contact with Kahn and prohibits them from violating the Maine Civil Rights Act in the future.
