BLUE HILL — After a year without the Blue Hill Fair, the event is back in full swing this year.
The fairgrounds is pretty empty right now in Blue Hill, but in just a few weeks they will be filled with family, friends, and a lot of food.
Erik Fitch is general manager of the Blue Hill Fair and said there is a lot to look forward to this year.
“It’s been a long two year break, the excitement is building in the community and we are excited to bring anther full year to Blue Hill fair,” said Fitch.
“You can expect a full slate of entertainment, along with animals and we will have plenty of food and rides,” he added.
He said the food is a major attraction at the fair.
“All your fair favorites, dough boys and french fries. Blue Hill has a big diverse food fair, we are going to have a lot of your favorites back,” he said.
This year the fair is on Sept. 2 and goes through Sept. 6. It will be located at 223 Ellsworth Road in Blue Hill.
“We are open, we are ready come on down, come all 5 days,” said Fitch.
