BANGOR – The Bangor School Department is reporting more cases of COVID-19 Saturday evening.
According to Interim Superintendent Kathy Harris-Smedberg, there are now confirmed cases of COVID-19 in a student or staff member at Bangor High School, William S. Cohen School, Mary Snow School, Fruit Street School and Downeast School.
Harris-Smedberg says Bangor High School and the Cohen School will move to remote learning through Dec. 4, and students will return to in-person learning on Monday, Dec. 7 due to the amount of people impacted.
She says Fruit Street School, Mary Snow School and Downeast School will be able to return to in-person learning on Monday, Nov. 30 as a small amount of people were impacted, and schools have already been closed for over 72 hours.
Anyone who was potentially exposed will receive an email with quarantine information.
