BANGOR — The Bangor School Committee has revealed a timeline for when they expect to hire a new school superintendent.
Over the next couple of months, the school board and the Maine School Superintendents Association will be reviewing applications and hosting community forums for the public to ask questions about the process.
The superintendent association’s executive director, Eileen King, said she excepts there to be plenty of applications for the job.
“Based on your advertising right now and based on going with an additional consultant, the last large search we did we got 18,” King said.
Right now, they have final applicant interviews and eventual selection scheduled for late April.
However, this timeline is subject to change.
