BANGOR — A Bangor man was arrested Saturday following a death investigation.
First responders tried to revive the man in an apartment at 64 Center St. but were unsuccessful.
According to a news release from Bangor police Sgt. Wade Betters, while detectives were in the apartment house they executed a search warrant at a nearby apartment and seized a handgun, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, Suboxone, and Xanax. He said police arrested 37-year-old Ralph Tripp and charged him with drug trafficking, drug possession, and possession of a firearm by a person prohibited to have firearms.
Betters said Tripp was taken to the Penobscot County Jail after his arrest.
