BANGOR – Hospitals and medical facilities aren’t the only places storing the COVID-19 vaccines.
The Rotary Club of Bangor donated two I-Pads, and $1,700 to the Bangor Fire Department to pay for a special refrigerator to store the vaccines.
Caroline King of the Bangor Rotary Breakfast Club said this is the perfect opportunity to help the fire department secure the safety of the community.
“We are working with local fire departments to support their efforts in vaccinating our communities when Bangor Fire Department rose on that list. We need to fund their entire project,” said Caroline King, Bangor Rotary Breakfast Club President.
King said the two I-Pads will be used to help document the administration of the vaccine.
