BANGOR- Working the holiday isn’t so bad when you’re with people you enjoy, surrounded by good food.
People at the Bangor Fire Department spent Thursday morning prepping for the big meal.
The turkey was cooked to a perfect crisp and all the fixin’s were good to go.
“I enjoy cooking here at the firehouse. I do it quite a bit here for the guys,” said Butch Charette, the firefighter who oversaw most of the cooking. “We take a lot of pride in our turkey and our cooking so that’s my favorite.”
Once the food was good to go, their families joined them at the firehouse.
Thank you to all the first responders working the holiday to keep us safe.
