BANGOR — There’s a new holiday movie hitting the screen in December called “Christmas with the Chosen.”
The movie follows the birth of Jesus through the eyes of Mary and Joseph and it’s only available in a few locations.
The film will be shown in theaters in Augusta and Brunswick, but viewers are also invited to view it at the Bangor Church of the Nazarene on Union at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
“I am hoping this year we’re able to go back to the heart of Christmas and what Christmas is really about, which is friends and family and the birth of Jesus,” said Kayla Adams, vice president of the church’s Missions Council.
Tickets for “Christmas with the Chosen” can be purchased online here.
Those in attendance will be required to wear masks.
