BANGOR — A state investigation has cleared a local medical marijuana outlet of having anything to do with one of its customer’s illnesses.
A statement from Erik Gundersen at the Office of Marijuana Policy said that under the investigation no link was found between the customer’s reported symptoms and the products he purchased at Acadia Cannabis.
The company’s owner said he was pleased with the outcome.
“We’ve actually had a lot of really positive support with customers coming in assuring us that they’re going to continue buying our product and they do not feel any type of illness or ailment from our products,” Niel Boxnovel said. “We just want to reassure everyone that we are prideful in the products that we sell and that they are safe for your consumption.”
He said he’s excited knowing the products the shop sells are safe and of good quality.
