BANGOR – The woman accused of stabbing two people at the Bangor Mall tlast week appeared before a judge Friday.
34-year-old Elizabeth Ellis of Virginia is facing two counts of elevated aggravated assault.
Police say she stabbed two victims from behind in random attacks and then fled to Farmington where she turned herself in.
Fortunately both victims survived and were treated at a local hospital and released.
The judge setting bail at 35,000 dollars cash and is ordering Ellis to stay away from the Bangor Mall. We’ve also learned that Ellis moved to Maine several months ago and had been living in Carabassett Valley.
Police say it’s still unclear what prompted the stabbings..
