GREENVILLE – – “America’s Crown Jewel” was unveiled as the new brand for Moosehead Lake Region’s future.
After several months of research and planning, The Moosehead Lake Region Branding Initiative Committee announced and presented the region’s new brand direction at Greenville Consolidated School.
They hope the new plan will attract more young people back to the area, while also adding jobs and new businesses.
Over 150 people showed up, 1,400 plus responded to the online survey and participated in focus groups so the brand could be established on the means of what the people want to see.
Roger Brooks International consultant group delivered the presentation today. Brochures, street signs, and souvenirs were amongst the few items showed to the crowd. Speaker Roger Brooks said the goal is to attract people in their 20s, 30s, and young families.
The marketing group will continue to create and provide a strategic branding and marketing action plan to help the region’s businesses implement the new brand, “America’s Crown Jewel.”
“For the next eight months, we will work to implement this plan and get everyone ready to move forward. By 2016, people will see pieces coming together.” Said Rogers.
By 2017, He hopes the final product will begin to shape up by having more people flocking to the area, a pavilion built, and much more.
