ROCKLAND – Five Rockland juveniles, including two as young as 11, are facing charges after an underage drinking party.
Rockland police tell us the party was reported to them on April first by a grandmother who arrived home to find the party underway.
Two 11-year-olds were summoned for theft of alcohol from a nearby Hannaford. One of the 11-year-olds was also charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
Three other teens, ages 13, 14 and 15 were also summoned for possession of alcohol by a minor. Police praised the grandmother for taking appropriate action and say the parents of all of the children were very cooperative.
