WISCASSET – a 14 year-old Wiscasset High School student has been charged with aggravated drug trafficking.
Last week the boy’s father alerted school staff that his son may have stolen pills from a family member and may have brought them to school.
On Friday 163 prescription pills were found hidden in a Pringles can in the boys backpack.
The boy had packaged and priced the pills for sale. the pills included Vicodin and Oxycontin as well as several other narcotic drugs.
It is suspected the student planned to sell them at a dance that was scheduled to be held on Friday night.
The student was released to his father and is scheduled to be arraigned April 28,
