BANGOR – A longtime Bangor city councilor is leaving his post.
David Nealley announced his resignation from the Bangor City Council at Monday night’s meeting.
Born and raised in Bangor, Nealley had served the city in various capacities starting in 2001.
He primarily served on the council’s Finance, Business and Economic Development Committee.
Nealley was elected to his third term in 2018. His term was set to expire in 2021.
During the meeting, Nealley was awarded a plaque for his effort on the council over the years.
