BANGOR – Changes have been made to some of the Community Connector’s bus routes.
The changes, which affect five of the bus system’s routes, took effect Monday.
One of those changes affects the Capehart route. Since the Department of Health and Human Services moved to a new location on Maine Avenue, riders can now get to that facility using the Hammond Street bus.
“On Mount Hope, we’re able to go into the veterans home and clinic for the first time. So this is great, they’ve made some really good improvements to their parking lot and their entrance. So we’re servicing the vets home and clinic, and we’re putting things onto the Stillwater Route to be able to do that,” Bus Superintendent Laurie Linscott said.
The last route to change is Old Town, which will now offer service to College Avenue.
