WALDO – One person is injured and another is facing charges after a stabbing Thursday morning in the town of Waldo.
Authorities said staff at Waldo County General Hospital called them just before 5 a.m to report they had a person needing care who had been involved in a stabbing.
Waldo County sheriff’s deputies said their investigation determined the incident had happened at a residence on Old County Road in Waldo earlier in the day.
Sean Sullivan, 26, was later arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and violating conditions of release.
Deputies said Sullivan has several known addresses in the Waldo-Brooks area.
The victim was transferred to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor for further treatment.
