BANGOR – A man accused of robbing a Patten credit union in February was back in court Wednesday facing a new charge.
Bryan Ingalls, 59, has been held at the Penobscot County Jail since his arrest on Valentine’s Day.
He was indicted on a robbery charge in April.
His bail was set at $40,000 cash but he was unable to make bail.
Wednesday, he was back in court to face for an additional charge of tampering with a witness.
An $5,000 cash bail was set and Ingalls is not allowed to have contact with the witness.
If convicted on the charge of tampering with a witness, Ingalls could face up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
He is due back in court in September.
