Artists of all kind were selling their work, and there were also art demonstrations, performing arts acts, and children's activities.
Organizers said it's been ten years since the last Downtown Bangor Sidewalk Art Festival, and it was time to bring it back.
"Downtown Bangor has kind of become the arts and culture hub of central and northern Maine, and everyone really missed the sidewalk art festival that they used to do years ago," said Amanda Coburn, an event organizer.
Some of Saturday's vendors came from the greater Bangor area, others were from Hancock County.
They're already planning for next year's event, so anyone interested to help plan that is asked to reach out through the Downtown Bangor Facebook page.
