Brewer bicyclist injured after getting hit by car

BREWER - An adult riding a bicycle on Wilson Street was injured Wednesday morning when he was hit by a car.

Brewer Police Cpl. Zachary Caron said the man on the bike pulled out in front of the vehicle.

 

He was taken by ambulance to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, Caron said.

 

The collision occurred near the junction of Wilson and Parker streets.

 

Wilson Street was blocked off to traffic for a short time while officers investigated, and the ambulance crew took care of the injured man.

 

Caron said no charges are pending.
