Fire destroys home in Lincoln

Written by

LINCOLN - Firefighters in Lincoln are working to determine what caused a fire that destroyed a two-story home Sunday morning.

According to a post on the Lincoln Fire Department's Facebook page, crews were called to Taylor Street just before 5:00 Sunday morning for a reported building fire.

Authorities say flames were coming out of all sides of the building when crews arrived on scene.

According to the social media post, nobody was home at the time and no injuries were reported.

Authorities say the home is a total loss.

Officials at the Lincoln Fire Department say it was the 11th reported building fire in that town since the beginning of 2019.
