BANGOR – Bangor city councilors approved a budget for 2020 Monday night.
The city budget that passed is just shy of $105 million.
City councilors said employee benefits and aging infrastructure were two of the biggest drivers in the budget increase.
The only change that was made to the budget since the state budget passed was an increase in revenue sharing from the state.
Property taxes in Bangor will be going up at least 2 percent.
